Tinker Bell
Character: Tinker Bell
She has appeared in multiple film and television adaptations of the Peter Pan stories, in particular the 1953 animated Walt Disney picture Peter Pan. Tinker Bell is depicted as a young, attractive, blonde haired, big blue eyed, white female, with an exaggerated hour-glass figure. She is clad in a short lime-green dress with a rigid trim, and green slippers with puffs. She is trailed by small amounts of pixie dust when she moves, and this dust can help humans fly if they believe in happy thoughts.
I had problems with this costume. I went through the trouble of air brushing a big leaf design on this dress, but it was ruined by crappy glitter glue. The wig was also a problem for this costume, my dark hair is sticking out on both sides [not many pictures looked acceptable because of that]. I probably wont be wearing this same costume to any events [but I did get more fabric to make a new green dress, should the occasion arise].
I've been working on improving my makeup skills, so this costume was mostly about practicing my eyeliner. I love this eye makeup [eyeshadow all the way around]. Check out the Presentation workshop for a closer look.
I bought the little wings at the dollar store, and made the little dress out of spandex.
