Palmon - Digimon: Digital Monsters
Palmon is a Vegetation Digimon. Digimon started out as a digital pet called "Digital Monster", similar in style and concept to the Tamagotchi. Digimon, Digital Monsters Digimon are the champions!
It's similar to Pokemon. I watched the first few seasons of it when I was a kid.
I made this because a friend of mine wanted to do a group, but come con she wasn't happy with her Gomamon. So I ended up solo for the mot part, But luckily there was a Digimon group.. and a few months later Digimon Tri came out, and I was suddenly very popular.
It's made of a brushed fabric with a suede feel, zipper down the back, extra long sleeves with claw tips. There are little slits for my hands to come out of, and a veiny pattern painted on. Everything made completely by me. The flower hat/headband is mostly craft foam.
It's a cute costume. Simple and comfortable.
There's a cleavage hole on the front that was flopping around, so I put a hair flower on it to clip it to my bra.
Costume consists of: Green sack dress with extra long sleeves, flower hat, wig.
Most people got it confused with the plant Pokemon: Bellossom. and I guess it's a forgivable mistake.
Pictures were taken at Fanime 2015, and a gathering 2015. Photos by Toshi, Corpus, and others.
