Catwoman - DC Universe
Character: Catwoman aka Selina Kyle from DC Comics & Movies
In her first comic book appearance, Catwoman was a whip-carrying burglar with a taste for high-stake thefts. Between the comics and the movie adaptations, Catwoman has gone through many different costumes. This costume is a mix [loose hair & headband, with the goggles instead of mask]. I had the whip lying around for a long time [I think I got it at a novelty shop in Florida], and yes, I can crack that whip. I attached plastic horns onto the orange goggles (same goggles as my Ed cosplay).
Costume consists of: Black body suit, gloves, cat ears, horned goggles, bull whip, tall leather boots. I re-did the costume to wear to AnimeiCon in 2012. The new costume had a shiny bodysuit, corset, and shorter boots. I got the tall boots for $5 bucks at a prop-wear-house liquidation sale in LA. They're totally 90's awesome, and I planned on making a [Pretty Woman] Vivian hooker costume when I bought them. I wish body suits would make a come-back, I look great in them.
The pictures the first time around [the crappy ones], were taken at my college parking garage at night [I wanted to look dark and mysterious, but the lighting was so bad that the pix all ended up a little blurry [without flash] and then the flash washed out my color]. Oh well! [I did replace most of them, but I'll leave a few for reference]. But the pictures taken at AnimeiCon are fantastic! There is really no substitute for a real photographer.
